I, frankly, don’t think postmodernism has a texture. It is simply a provocative idea challenging our notion of modernity. Many people think postmodernism says that we’re living a post modern era. To the contrary, postmodernism says we’re still living an illusion we call “modernity” and we need to snap out of it and “find a nicer path.” It’s a radical invitation

Interesting combination of negative aspects of modern times! It was really fun reading this but dont you think “postmodern” texture of our lives is getting worn-out too? Is not “postmodernism” growing and being identified through modern terminology and modern concepts? (Just thinking out loud):)

There are so few who have grasped the real meaning of modernity and civilized behaviour.
Those people have existed throughout history and have always been a minority in danger of extinction.
It has nothing to do with bossing people around and being mean. Even a cat being bossed around by another will eventually scratch or simply leave the territory.

The most enjoyable aspects of modern living are flushing toilets, access to running water, and a cool a/c in the blistering heat of summer. Oh, and perhaps I will add a high speed internet connection to that.

i dont think the word is pushed around. i think its respected.
i want a mans man, not pink wearing nail manicuring eye brow 7iffing modern man.
i dont want someone to compete with. I like being taken care of.
I can take care of my self well. but why bother when someone else can do it?
that doesn’t mean ill enjoy being pushed around!

and humans are no where near civilized.. we use intelligence to build weapons of mass destruction.
the more modern and educated tech savvy we get the more barbaric we seem to become.

its not about whos gna save the plant.. its about whos gna scare the other shitless…
